Sunday 9th December
"Spotlight Singaround" featuring Anne Sartain and Alan Wheeler.
Anne and Alan sing gentle harmonies of mainly traditional folk songs, with beautiful accompaniment on their many instruments, including guitars, mandolin, and recorders.
There will be plenty of opportunity for floor spots too because Anne has injured her wrist.

The irrepressible king of the English squeezebox makes a two day visit to the Guildford area on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th December.  On the Friday evening he will be presenting his one-man Christmas show "Carolling and Crumpets" at the Guildford Institute.  The show reveals the musical riches of England's Midwinter customs and traditions from "The Boars Head Carol" to his almost-hit single "Jogging Along With My Reindeer" via the "Sherborne Mummers Song".  The show begins at 8.00pm.  Details from or 01483 871443 - N.B. ONLY 2 TICKETS LEFT!

On Saturday 15th December John brings his "family ceilidh band" to Godalming Borough Hall for a Christmas Barn Dance.  As well as playing accordeon in his irresistable danceable way John will be calling the dances and is joined by his sons Jobi and Benji Kirkpatrick (the latter a member of Bellowhead and Faustus) on bass and guitars and his wife Sally on percussion.  Tickets can be purchased in person from Record Corner, Pound Lane, Godalming or at the door.  Details from or 01483 871443.
