Vincent
Dance Theatre presents
Broken Chords at
the Gulbenkian Theatre
Wednesday 28 February at
7.45pm
A humorous look at love and loss comes to Canterbury with
Vincent Dance Theatre's production of Broken Chords.
The
cast of eight performers describe the pain of separation and emotional breakdown
and begin to rebel against the work from the inside, forcing a
theatrical
meltdown with hilarious and chaotic consequences.
You donšt have to
take our word for it! Check out the audience reaction on the first night of the
tour at

"Vincent pulls of a powerful feat
creating a moving portrait of grief while making us laugh." The
Guardian
In Broken Chords, the company uses theatre and
spoken word along with spectacular movement to explore the themes of breaking
up, set to a poignant
score performed by live violin and cello. Teasing the
audience at every turn, Broken Chords represents Vincent Dance
Theatre's coming of age as a
company that has consistently surprised,
challenged and delighted audiences for over twelve years.
