WANTED!!
Entertainers and musicians are required for a small charitable
event on April
21st from
11am - 6pm.
The Eastbourne Lammas Festival Committee
are organising Eastbourne's second
annual
St George's Medieval Fayre at St Mary's
Church parsonage and barn
in
Eastbourne's Old Town (round the back of the Lamb Inn). Does anybody
know
of
suitable musicians/ jugglers/ morris dancers/ jesters/ stilt-walkers
etc
to
entertain the crowd milling around the medieval market square,
quaffing
ale and
mead and enjoying the hog-roast. Sorry we can't afford to pay but
if you
like dressing up and would be willing to spend an hour or so
having
fun and
entertaining people then please let me know.
Last
year's event drew a big crowd and raised quite a lot of money
towards
the Lammas
Festival's overheads. Please help us to keep the festival free
by
supporting this event.
