Subject: Taster Course in Music at the Royal College of
Music
The Royal
College of Music is running a free 'Taster' course on February 26th
~
28th, to
give students the chance to experience teaching music in schools.
The
course is
designed to help people decide whether to apply for a PGCE, but
is
absolutely
without obligation. It is a resource that could be offered to
anyone
open to
considering a teaching career in music. Participants can be students
in
the final
year of a degree programme or recent alumni.
The course
will involve two discussion/ workshop days at the RCM and one day
visiting
and participating in the musical life of a school in
London.
The
closing date for applications is February 19th.
