The 15th Faversham International Hop Festival takes place over the 2nd and 3rd September and includes some wonderful family entertainment:
Market Stalls
Craft Fair
Stilt Walkers in fantastic costumes
Street Theatre
Three Live Music Stages featuring the best of local bands
Shepherd Neame beer tent, brewery tours and steam train
Pub bands
Loads of Morris sides
Pearly Kings and Queens
Final parade with shire horses, vintage brewery vehicles, etc.
The best of Kentish food and drink
and truckloads of hops!!
All this is kick-started by An Evening With Chris Wood (violinist/composer/guitarist/singer extraordinaire - and local, too!) at Faversham Folk Club on Friday, 1st September.  The venue is The Chimney Boy in Preston Street and doors open at 8.00 p.m.  Admission is 5 for members and 6 for non-members.  Details from me, Mary Henderson, on 07980 203992.
See you there?!
Many thanks
Mary Henderson
