The 15th Faversham International Hop Festival takes
place over the 2nd and 3rd September and includes some wonderful family
entertainment:
Market Stalls
Craft Fair
Stilt Walkers in fantastic
costumes
Street Theatre
Three Live Music Stages featuring the best of local
bands
Shepherd Neame beer tent, brewery tours and
steam train
Pub bands
Loads of Morris sides
Pearly Kings and Queens
Final parade with shire horses, vintage brewery
vehicles, etc.
The best of Kentish food and
drink
and truckloads of hops!!
All this is kick-started by An Evening With
Chris Wood (violinist/composer/guitarist/singer extraordinaire
- and local, too!) at Faversham Folk Club on Friday, 1st September. The venue is The
Chimney Boy in Preston Street and doors open at 8.00 p.m. Admission is
