2nd - 4th June 2006, Friday 20:00 to Sunday 17:00
The 4th Pig's Ear Kentish Horse Folk Ale, Cow Lane, Markbeech, Kent

The marquee is booked. … Dave the Pub has agreed. … The date is fixed.

The Assorted Quadruped Folk Ale is now definitely ON and is a great opportunity to enjoy the splendid setting of the Kentish Horse as well as its excellent ale (Dave the Pub always has a few interesting guest beers in for the occasion). Tickets will be £10.00 for the weekend, to include camping (camping for performers and ticket-holders only). Day tickets £5.00 - available NOW from Pig's Ea
r.

Performers include Band of Two, Skynflynt, Wasps in the Woodshed, No Worries, Andy Smythe, John Barden, and the list is growing. Not forgetting Pig's Ear and… this year they're called Dangerous Age!

The Folk Ale kicks off at 20:00 on Friday 2nd June with a concert in the marquee featuring Band of Two plus a singaround session in the pub. We will once again be running “Come all ye” concert sessions on Saturday and Sunday afternoons - if you would like a spot, please let Sue know a
sap.

Please note that the Folk Ale is the first weekend in June (that is, the weekend following the Spring Bank Holiday, not the Bank Holiday Weekend itself). Get the date in your diary now! If you wish to camp contact Pig's Ear on +44.1732.864.206 or Dave Coker at The Kentish Horse on +44.1342.850.493. Weekend Tcikets will be available in advance and are very very good value. Equivalent to the price of just a few coffees at Starb
ucks!

The Kentish Horse is the only pub in Markbeech, next to the Church on the corner of Cow Lane. Travel south from Edenbridge on the B2026 (signed Tunbridge Wells). About 2 miles after leaving Edenbridge, as you climb a hill, you will see The Queens Arms (a.k.a. 'Elsies') on your right at the Cowden Pound crossroads. Turn left (signed Penshurst & Markbeech) and you will reach Markbeech after about another mile. See the map at

Thanks for all the good work you’re doing to promote and support folk music in Kent.

Best regards,
