Geoff Achison's gig on Sat 17th June in Maidstone is all but sold out.  If you want to come along to this gig please try & let me know within seven days......I have a maximum of about 20 places left & have hired extra chairs to sit as many down as possible.  As you know I don't like to turn people away & will try to squeeze as many in as comfortably possible but you do need to move about, so a max of about 130 is as many as I can manage.  There will be other opportunities to see Geoff in Kent & London & I'll try & get his short tour schedule on-site this week.
Now chaps & chapesses......I need your help.......whilst I appreciate Geoff has a special place with most of us my other gigs are also pretty good.....& I really could do with some bodies for Fri the 12th May in Maidstone & Tues 30th May in Rochester.  I'm nowhere near break-even on either of these gigs & they are exceptional......Philip Guy-Davies who runs the Famous Monday Blues Club in Oxford emailed me to say that when they had Big Dez last month they had a storming night & he would definitely have them back....he only puts top acts on including Delta Moon & Geoff Achison & The Souldiggers so his judgement can be trusted.....as can mine I hope!!  Paul Lamb & The King Snakes on the 30th at The Roffen is another top echelon evening.
These gigs get flagged on many other web sites, such as Phoenix Radio (Digital Blues) in Essex, as amongst some of the best gigs in Britain........bring a friend & keep these special occasions going.
Last but not least.....yes I know about the "deliberate mistake" in my last bulletin......well done Linda in Gloucester for spotting Mater Class (& Geoff, Brian, John etc. etc.) when of course it should have been Master Class.  I read & re-read these missives & usually I spot a typo nanoseconds after I've sent the damn things....it's just not fair...but it does give me an indication of who's reading them!!
John.
