New FAE eGroup - Important!
As you will probably be aware there is now a new FolkArts England (FAE) eGroup. You should have already had an email invitation to join this eGroup (if not then please let me know). Please take a couple of minutes to follow the on screen instructions and join the new eGroup. Apologies to those who have already joined and will therefore receive this eBulletin twice. Future eBulletins will be sent only to the FAE eGroup. The new eGroup will include all members of FAE and can be used as a forum for any issues affecting members. All messages which would previously have gone to the Folk Arts Network eGroup should be sent to the new FAE eGroup. The Association of Festival Organisers (AFO) eGroup will deal with specifically festival-related issues.

If there is anything you want advice on from a wider membership than SEFAN - I believe I can ask  FAE e-Group on your behalf.
(Unless you are a member of FAE in your own right, you cannot contact / post direct).

Send me the email;  I'll post it on the site and forward any return information to you.

FolkArts England News Copy Date Reminder
The copy date for the next edition of FAE News is 1 June 2006. If you have any news items, reports and articles which you would like us to pass on to other FAE members and to a much wider audience then please contact Jess Adams at jess_at_folkarts-england_dot_org or 01629 82014.

New Licensing Act 2003 Stories
If you need one, have you got your license yet? If so was it easy, was it hard, who did it and who helped? Tell us your story whatever the outcome. We are compiling a catalogue for Live Music Forum for consideration in their financial report. If you don't tell us we can't tell them and they can't say well done to the Local Authority (or not). Please send any relevant information to info_at_folkarts-england_dot_org

Again send snippets to me - and I'll collate for this and OUR 2nd newsletter.
Unless you are a member of FAE in your own right, you cannot input direct.
