Subject: Happy Easter from FolkintheBarn

Hi Everyone and Happy Easter
Sorry If I've been a bit neglectful recently, I was actually on me hols for a fortnight and that was followed be a week of battling to get my internet reconnected!! Apologies to those of you who tried to phone and kept getting messages, I did try and get back to you from the mountain I was on, but it wasn't always possible.
Anyway I'm back, renewed, refreshed and broke but with lots of exciting news...
Firstly - Show of Hands next weekend - hooray, thats going to be fantastic! Both gigs are now sold out but as usual I'll run a waiting list and as lots of you know, that can often prove fruitful. There is still one, just one, place left for the workshop, so if you were umming and ahhing, go for it, it'll be great. It'll be a unique and one-off event so don't miss this great opportunity. Ring or email me for details. I'm still awaiting payment for a few tickets, thats a gentle reminder if its you! I'll send Steve and Phil round if I don't hear anything, on second thoughts, that would be quite appealing wouldn't it.
Secondly and also to do with Show of Hands, you may have already seen it on Longdogs but next Easter Sunday the third Show of Hands concert at the Royal Albert Hall will take place. Tickets aren't available yet, you'll need to keep an eye on their website for details.
Thirdly - and most exciting for me, the long awaited (by me anyway!) Folk in the Barn website is alive and well and to be found at folkinthebarn.co.uk (not folkinthebarn.net which is a fantastic acoustic club and to be recommended but Cumbria might be a bit far to go for a gig)
As with all websites, its been alive for 3 days and its already out of date! But I will get around to that as soon as my internet probs are sorted. But please have a look and let me know what you think. Also if any of you have businesses that would like to sponsor the website in return for a link or a mention, please let me know.
That's it for now, I'm off to scoff more chocolate bunnies.
see you soon
