Subject: John Harvey tunes session, Tuesday 7th. April
Dear Everyone,

The next English tunes session at the John Harvey Tavern, Bear Yard, off Cliffe High Street, Lewes, will be on Tuesday 7th. April from 8.00 p.m. onwards. If you would like to lead one of these sessions, which are always held on the first Tuesday evening of the month, let me know. Tony Dunn is leading on April 4th.

COOPE BOYES & SIMPSON VOCAL HARMONY WORKSHOP, LEWES ARMS, SATURDAY APRIL 1ST.
The workshop is sold out, but we are keeping a waiting list in case of returns. Places are still available for Georgina Boyes's talk on early song collectors in Sussex that afternoon at the Royal Oak, Lewes (£7.50 in advance, £10 on the door). Two tickets remain for CBS's evening performance at the Lewes Arms (£5 each).

GAVIN BIRD: MELODEON WORKSHOP, LEWES ARMS, SATURDAY 3RD. JUNE, £15
(replacing Gina Le Faux's advertised fiddle workshop)

Gavin graduated from the University of Newcastle's first folk music degree course last year. He is an excellent melodeon player and singer. One of the topics workshop will cover is ways of applying unusual chords and progressions to tunes. Gavin performs at the Lewes Arms Folk Club in the evening (£4).

Best wishes,

Valmai
